By Laura Prudom Disney Channel has given the greenlight to “Descendants 2,” a sequel to the network’s hit original movie, Variety has learned.

Also coming back for the follow-up will be cast members Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, Sofia Carson and Mitchell Hope.

With the exception of Elijah Kelley and Luke James and Bryshere Gray, the rest of the members that rounded out the group were starring in what could easily become their first breakout role.
