Ideas for dating anniversaries

Have you ever been just a couple days away from your wedding anniversary and trying to figure out what meaningful gift you can get…inexpensively? But have no fear, you (and I) never have to go through that again. Feel free to borrow these ideas and make them your own. Then I took a piece of paper and “aged” it with coffee and tea grounds.

Although the tradition of giving themed gifts for specific year anniversaries dates back to the middle ages, those etiquette suggestions focus entirely on married couples. For our first anniversary (which is traditionally the paper anniversary), I took sand from Lake Michigan (where my husband was born) and put it in an old bottle with a stopper top.
