It’s a lot easier for a man to take out a carefree, responsibility free, baggage free, wrinkle free 28-year-old, which is why so many men try to go in that direction. Men want much younger women, but rarely do much younger women want older men.Put another way, if a woman has an array of other quality options closer to her age range, what incentives would she have to date a man who is SEVENTEEN YEARS OLDER? Before any 40 people get all hot and bothered about this – I am not judging. I do think people improve with age (my wife is nodding). She doesn’t need a guy who will be taking Viagra when she’s sexually peaking at 43..I never even meet older guys, all I meet is guys ages 22-35.My problem is that I have always thought older women who go for younger men are a) disgusting b) need their heads examining and c)wonder what on earth the younger men would be doing showing interest in older women when they could be going out with a nubile 25 year old?
-what do you think about the older woman/younger man scenario?
"I wish it 1850 so I could shoot you," opined one charming homophobe. And I didn't know playing and laughing was only for women under 35. ACTUAL DISGUSTI ended a long friendship with a married mate who asked me, by email, if my partner had any friends who might want to "hook up".
We're supposed to be an enlightened, open contemporary society but sometimes it's like we're a bunch of sniffy Victorian aunts, smelling of mothballs, armed with i Phones. Australian TV larrikin Karl Stefanovic has made the mistake of being well known and being pictured out with a woman 10-years his junior, Jasmine Yarborough. I realised he saw younger women as a bunch of sex-mad libertines in lipstick and heels, looking for a sugar daddy to entertain. I told him she didn't know any hookers he didn't have to pay and he was quite offended.
I can't imagine what it must be like to be a good way outside the circle, like the young "Gay Cowboy", NSW rodeo rider Joshua Goyne, for example.
Goyne recently came out and has received an avalanche of online abuse, including death threats. There's no public confirmation of a relationship at all, yet Yarbrough is already publicly vilified for reminding Australian women, presumably just those older than her, of "what they are not".Remind yourself what ignited this initial attraction and focus on that.
